Stay away from this dump. Went on Valentine’s Day at 6:30 pm and the bar tender ignored us and got mad when we asked to order drinks . He was too busy changing bottles . I won’t go back to this place or Hong Kong .

Place is WACK!!!! Girls don’t talk! They just sit around!! Loud horrible music!! Hot as HELL!!!! Would not recommend this place!!!

Live music, wayyy too loud (maybe I am just getting old?? ) (nahh) Joined by doorways to Hong Kong, live mexican western bands on the weekends. Farm girls "converted" (not into nuns). Used to be more fun that it is, but thats the bar life. Kind of redneck, but some of the girls are nice and have a good attitude. UPDATE AUG 2023. Somtimes you go here, and there are tables FULL of young ladies, painted, perfumed and "waiting", however they are waiting for MONEY to roll over to them. Whatever happened to the "casual bar" that we all used to love. I hate to think that this is an "assembly line" of hard nosed women, counting their minutes and their cash?? This has become a hard core machine. Used to love this place. A couple of beers, pretty girls, friendly conversation, country style bar. Casual attitude.

Wow, management really needs to educate their doormen as to what constitutes an American ID. I am the female half of a couple that was strip club hopping. When we decided to try Chavelas, I was asked for my ID. Ok, no problem. I whip out my US driver’s license (which I had used as ID at the other clubs when asked for my ID) and was told I couldn’t use it. The man said it wasn’t identification, only a license? We tried to explain that that’s ID for us and was told it wasn’t ID. So, apparently the club and the girls didn’t need or want the money we planned to spend.

This is one of my favorite H-bars in the RLD. The girls here are usually young and pretty and not as "sharky" as the other bars. They are dressed more like normal girls going to a nightclub. Beers for ladies are about $8 dollars, and for guys about $3. I always have a great time here.
