Pullermanns är en gay cruising-bar på Mathiasstraße i Kölns Altstadt-Süd, och det har varit en bar av detta slag på denna adress sedan 1972 — under tidigare namn, Platzjabbeck, Hands och Boners, före det nuvarande. Alla i staden känner till adressen, som baren säger det.

Dess motto är Be free. Lädermannen träffar mannen i kostym, björnen och skateboardåkaren sitter tillsammans vid bardisken, och oavsett om du blev född 1940 eller 1990, oavsett om du anländer i full gummi eller ingenting alls, allt är tillåtet. Den enda, och baren betonar att det är mycket viktigt, regeln är öppenhet, ömsesidig tolerans och acceptans.

Det öppnar dagligen från 21:00 — fredagar, lördagar och kvällar före allmänna helgdagar minst till 05:00, söndagar till torsdagar minst till 03:00. Måndagar börjar tidigare, klockan 18:00, för en naken-endast-kväll. Söndagseftermiddagar från 14:00 till 20:00 har en roterande specialitet: en golden shower-session på första och tredje söndagen i månaden, gymnastikskor och sportklädsel på den andra, en fisting-kväll på den fjärde och, i månader som har en, en foto- och filmsession på den femte.

Very good gay cruising bar. Had a great night here with lots of action. We went for naked nigh and they give you bag at entrance to store clothes and you strip off in open space near the bar. They store your bag safely. Then bar area to get a drink before heading to the dark cruising area. Lots of space with benches and open sided cubicles, slings etc. Lots of action group and 1-1.

I remembered that I came here 6/7 years ago, and I remember that I was impressed by this place ... so now 6/7 years later I went again , and it all came back. This place looks like it comes out of gay 80's movie. Amazing creatures of the night , big daddy's, leather guys, young twinks, etc... Bars like these need to exist , it's part of the Queer culture , and it's beautiful. The music in this place it top, not the ordinary but the extra ordinary. People who don't give this not 5 stars just don't understand the culture of these kind of bars ;-)

So, my husband and I went to Pullermann's Naked Night last Monday. By seven, the place was jam packed with men. As others have said, the best part by far was the crew behind the bar. Naked, fun, friendly and downright sexy, they made the trip well worthwhile. As to the rest… Unfortunately, the floor is cement. All the bar stools are the usual height: a milking stool would have come in handy, let me tell you. The crowd was age-diverse and definitely of a type, shaved, white, and rather grim. The few welcome exceptions were not treated as outsiders. The night was not a success for me, but nevertheless quite an interesting sociological showcase of modern German manhood.

I was welcomed with open arms by a very friendly barman. The bar itself had a nice vibe but as with many of these fetish bars throughout Europe, the clientele can sometimes be the challenge. The cruising area had a kinky feel to it but some of the guys walking around made it somewhat awkward. Obviously the bar itself cannot control this.

We went for naked night on Monday: The bar staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. The place was busy. The clientele were very friendly. Great atmosphere and great prices for drinks. We would highly recommend.
