Baccara är den mest kända go-go-baren på Soi Cowboy, den korta gånggatorna med neonljus mellan Asoke och Sukhumvit Soi 23 i Bangkok, direkt mittemot Terminal 21-köpcentret. Den sträcker sig över två våningar och är generellt sett den mest trafikerade lokalen på gatan.

Soi Cowboy är ett av Bangkoks tre huvudsakliga nattlivsområden för vuxna tillsammans med Nana Plaza och Patpong. Det är knappt hundra meter långt, stängt för trafik, och kantad från ende till andre med go-go-barer; Baccara ligger ungefär halvvägs ner. Lokaler här öppnar vanligtvis på tidiga kvällen och stänger mellan 02:00 och 03:00.

ANOTHER SCAM at a different bar. It was very annoying as a customer to have to tell the staff several (4-5 times in a row) that I did nit want to buy a drink for a person I didn’t know, and that I did not want to take a girl home with me. I think this is just a cultural aspect of the nightlife/bar/AGOGO industry in Thailand.

Careful with this place. They’ll try to charge you more than what you ordered. Very sneaky. Better to go to the dollhouse next door instead. Learned my lesson here.

This bar is the best ever. The girl with ganesh on her arm who says her friend is from chennai and another girl who looks slightly indian are the best duo ever. Kindly protect these innocent souls. Thankyou for the wonderful experience!!!! The lean lady with short hair who serves drinks is also wonderful♥️

The best gogo bar in Soi Cowboy sadly let down by lady drink scam. Lady drinks are 240baht however beware as 2 of us that were sat separately both bought a lady drink.....however on checking the bill at the end we were both charged 480baht. When i queried this the girl said she was so sorry that she didn't ask but they charge you for 2 drinks and sit with you a bit longer. Well no thanks.....I invited for a lady drink. At no point was I told anything. They just take the bill away, get themselves a drink and put the bill back in the holder....so just check your bill as soon as they come back. We would have stayed longer and bought more drinks but they ruined the whole experience.
