Baccara is the best-known go-go bar on Soi Cowboy, the short pedestrian strip of neon-lit bars between Asoke and Sukhumvit Soi 23 in Bangkok, directly opposite the Terminal 21 mall. It occupies two floors and is generally the busiest venue on the street.

Soi Cowboy is one of Bangkok's three main adult nightlife areas alongside Nana Plaza and Patpong. It is barely a hundred metres long, closed to traffic, and lined end to end with go-go bars; Baccara sits about halfway down. Venues here typically open in the early evening and close between 02:00 and 03:00.
