The Best Strip Clubs in Atlanta

Atlanta is the rare city where the strip clubs are part of how the place is understood. They have shaped its music, they draw people who have flown in for them, and the good ones are genuinely distinct from each other rather than seven versions of the same room.

The order below is ranked on how consistently each club is named, where it sits, and what it is actually good at. It stops at seven because that is where the two guides we compared stop agreeing - it is not the whole city.

Magic City is first and it is not close. Both guides put it top, and its Monday night is the one Atlanta institution that people genuinely travel for. If you are only going to one club in this city, this is the one.

Clermont Lounge is second, and it is the least like any other club on this list. It sits in the basement of an old hotel on Ponce de Leon, it has been there for decades, and it trades on character rather than gloss. People who dislike strip clubs often like the Clermont.

The Cheetah is the opposite proposition - the upscale one on Spring Street, with a kitchen that people eat at on purpose. It ties with Clermont on the numbers; pick between them on which evening you want.

Blue Flame Lounge is the other club with a real claim on Atlanta's music history. Pink Pony on Corporate Boulevard is the polished Buckhead-adjacent option. Pin Ups and Tattletale Lounge round out the list - both long-running neighbourhood rooms rather than destinations.

Every address above was read off the venue's own website on the day this was written. Blue Flame and Pin Ups are not listed here because neither publishes an address on its own site, and we would rather leave a gap than print one we could not check.

Follies is missing on purpose. Both guides we compared still rank it eighth, but its website no longer resolves and the listings that track opening hours have marked it closed since August. We would rather drop a famous name than send you to a locked door.

Onyx and Diamonds are also named by both guides and are missing for a different reason: we do not have listings for them yet. Onyx in particular belongs in any honest account of Atlanta. Saying so is better than quietly presenting seven clubs as though they were all of them.
