Tampa has eleven strip clubs we can stand behind this week, and most of them sit on two roads. North Dale Mabry Highway carries the famous names, with Scores, Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey on the same short stretch. East Adamo Drive, out past Ybor City, has three more.
Here they are in the order we would send someone, with the reasoning underneath.

Why this order
The Penthouse Club comes first. It is the most consistently strong room in Tampa, and Scores is close behind it. Both are built for a full night out rather than an hour: each runs its own steakhouse, and both push bottle service and VIP rooms.
Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey are third and fourth, and they belong together. They face each other across Dale Mabry, both are full nude, and since January 2025 they have been run by the same people. The Tampa Bay Times reported that 2001 Odyssey's owners took over the Mons Venus and refurbished it rather than reinventing it. Mons Venus has been open since 1981, by its own account.
Below those, we ranked on what a visitor is actually choosing between: where the club is, what kind of room it is, and what it does better than the others.
Where they actually are
The Dale Mabry stretch near Westshore is the obvious place to start. Scores, Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey are a short walk apart, and the Penthouse Club is close by on Westshore Boulevard.
East Adamo Drive is the second cluster. Deja Vu, Tampa Gold Club and Emperors are all on it, a short drive east of Ybor City. Vixens is in Ybor itself, on East 7th Avenue.
The rest are spread across the northwest of the city. Pink Pony is on North Lois Avenue, Truth Lounge on West Cayuga Street and The Spot out on West Hillsborough Avenue. Each of those is its own trip.
How they differ
The biggest difference in Tampa is between full-nude rooms and rooms with a bar. Mons Venus, 2001 Odyssey, Vixens, Deja Vu and Pink Pony all describe themselves as full nude. Deja Vu says outright that it serves non-alcoholic drinks. If a drink matters to you, look at the Penthouse Club, Scores, Tampa Gold Club or Emperors, which all advertise bars or bottle service. Emperors describes its dancers as topless.
For food, the Penthouse Club and Scores both run steakhouses. Tampa Gold Club has a kitchen too and pitches its burgers. 2001 Odyssey is the one with the spaceship on its roof.
Vixens leans hardest into bachelor parties. Pink Pony runs a day shift, and The Spot opens at midday. Truth Lounge calls itself the premiere Black strip club in Tampa.
Before you go
- Age rules differ from club to club, and not every club states them the same way. Take ID and check the club's own page.
- Do not assume a full-nude club serves alcohol. Deja Vu, for one, says it does not.
- Prices are not published consistently and they change. Treat any figure you find online as an indication and confirm it at the door.
- Most of these clubs take bachelor-party and VIP bookings through their own sites. Worth doing for a group.
- Check the club's page the day you go. Hours move around holidays and big game nights.
If the vocabulary is new: a lap dance and a private dance are not always the same thing, and table dance means something specific again. Striptease is the stage show itself.
What we left off, and why
Tampa has more clubs than the eleven above. Some are missing because we do not list them yet, and we are adding them. Two others turn up on other people's lists, but their web addresses now point to domain-sale and parking pages, so we cannot confirm they are still open. That does not mean they have closed. It means we do not know.
One club often filed under Tampa is actually in Plant City, a separate town to the east, so it is not on a Tampa list.
Common questions
Where are most of Tampa's strip clubs?
On two roads. North Dale Mabry Highway has Scores, Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey within a short walk of each other, with the Penthouse Club nearby on Westshore Boulevard. East Adamo Drive has Deja Vu, Tampa Gold Club and Emperors.
Which Tampa strip clubs are full nude?
Mons Venus, 2001 Odyssey, Vixens, Deja Vu and Pink Pony all describe themselves as full nude. Deja Vu says it serves non-alcoholic drinks, so check before you go if you want a drink.
Are Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey the same club?
No. They are two clubs facing each other across Dale Mabry Highway. The Tampa Bay Times reported in May 2025 that 2001 Odyssey's owners had taken over running Mons Venus that January. Both still trade under their own names.
Which Tampa strip clubs serve food?
The Penthouse Club and Scores both run steakhouses. Tampa Gold Club has its own kitchen. Menus and hours change, so check the club's own site.
