Club Asylum is an alternative nightclub in central Sofia, in the passage at ul. Hristo Belchev 1. It is one floor, and it works on the principle of different nights for different people, each with its own rules — a dance floor, a lounge and a bar, programmed hard.

It is the home room for two promoters: KinkCorp, which runs its fetish nights on hard techno and immersive design, and Gay Parties Sofia, which runs its queer programme. A typical weekend pairs something like a LesBi Party on the Friday with a fetish night on the Saturday, both from 22:00 through to six in the morning.

The house rules are unusually explicit and worth reading before you go. Consent is mandatory and a no means no; anonymity is protected, with no photographs and no exceptions; a trained security team is on the floor all night; and there is zero tolerance for harassment, or for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia or kink-shaming. The dress code is treated as a requirement of effort — all-black is the minimum for parties, with no colour restrictions on latex, leather, lace, lingerie or avant-garde clothing. The club states that it sells entrance and drinks only and provides no adult services of any kind.
