The Attic Experience is a swingers club on Ascot Drive in Allenton, Derby, open in the daytime as well as on club nights.

It is unusual in two ways. It is fully licensed but sells no alcohol — guests bring their own — and it opens 10 till 5 six days a week, not just in the evenings. Inside there is a lounge, a cinema room, a dungeon with the usual red-amber-green safe words, a hot tub running on Friday and Saturday nights, showers with towels provided, and a free car park under the club's own CCTV.

No membership is needed and the club is cash-only. It is not a dress-down venue: the code is smart and clean at all times, with dress shoes rather than trainers expected on Friday and Saturday nights, and guests may stay dressed for as long as they like. Single men are admitted on Friday and Saturday only between eight and eleven, and entry is not guaranteed. Phones and cameras are not allowed anywhere inside, and the minimum age is 21.

We went here a couple weeks ago. Definitely not what we expected. Saturday night and 95% single males.... All running around pleasuring then self's. And to be honest hassling us. When we left one man even followed us out, and ask if he can come with us. Very seedy, no dress code from what we can tell. Avoid at all costs. We thought a Saturday would be couples and single ladies like most life style clubs. Not the case. Massive let down.

Had great fun just visited daytime for our first look round. Even midweek during the day we were not the only couple there. Wife had fun with two very fun but respectfully guys. The owner was great, checking we had enjoyed ourselves and that no one had overstepped any of our boundaries. Hotly a well run, well maintained adult club.

Fantastic club no food is served so can't really commit. Services was fine and you're made welcome by most staff and the new club is growing strong. I had a great time and lot's of fun with the gentlemen I went with.

Great club in Derby for swinging couples and experimenters ;) Ron is a top bloke and has done great things with the place. Myself and my other half Becs regularly attend the Cumfest and make good use of the play rooms which are always tidy and presentable. Staff are approachable and not rude. Looking forward to the next Kink > Swing night which Becs and myself will definitely be attending!

I was blessed with the opportunity to visit The Attic on three successive nights Thursday, a greedy girl event, Friday a club night and Saturday a party night and met some really great people there. Lots of time spent with like minded people in a really fun atmosphere. The club has retained the very best of the old venue and added so excellent new and Imaginative extras. The club is spotlessly clean, and mostly on one level. The staff are warm and welcoming, well trained, vigilante and professional. Top marks all round. A big thank you to all the lovely fellow lifestylers who made me feel so welcome. can't wait for the next time. Michael
