FNO Sports Sunday

Sports Sunday is Friends Night Out's weekly NFL afternoon in Aurora, Illinois — every Sunday from 11:30am to 5pm. The organisers describe it as an NFL lifestyle social, and the dress is your favourite team jersey with bare bottoms or sweats.

It is a potluck. FNO provides the meat and asks everyone to bring a dish to share, which is also why they want your name in advance — the RSVP is so they know how much food to buy.

Around the game they run several things at once. There is a clothing exchange — the organisers ask women to empty their wardrobes of things they no longer wear and swap for something new. There is an open amateur stripper slot during commercial breaks and at halftime, with a free FNO event offered to anyone brave enough to take the pole. And anyone with a side business can set up in the TSIN Barn and show their products.

The upstairs WildRumpus Room opens after the game to people who make a cash donation towards the cost of the barn; you get a wristband on the door that grants access.

Entry works on donations rather than tickets: the organisers put the suggested figure at around $10 per person, paid in cash at the door, and ask you to put your name on the list beforehand either way. Confirm on the day.
