Decadence Ball NYE — Electric Disco & A Night of Vogue

A two-night New Year's takeover of the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel by Decadence Ball, for couples and single women. The organiser takes the whole building, so guests stay on site across both nights.

Three stages run in parallel. The Revolution Ballroom, at around 2,500 square feet, is given to deep house and EDM under low light. The Decadence Grand Ballroom, at over 12,000 square feet, carries the headline DJs with lasers and full club production and leans on remixed anthems from the eighties, nineties and two-thousands. The Rendezvous Atrium Stage sits in the hotel's eleven-storey atrium, entered through the main lobby and surrounded on every side by guest rooms, and works as the mixing-and-mingling space — it hosts a brunch during the day on New Year's Eve and plays across genres at night.

The programme runs day and night and includes a New Year's Eve dinner. Each night has its own dress code and the organiser states it is enforced. The 30th is Electric Disco — metallic, sequins and seventies-inspired glamour, with the men's code relaxed. New Year's Eve is A Night of Vogue, runway-inspired and stricter: no shorts, no baseball caps, no sandals, and shirts worn at all times, though suits and tuxedos are not required and hats are welcome.
