Achilleus is a men's spa and sauna on Färberstraße in the middle of Nuremberg, a short walk from the Opernhaus and Weißer Turm underground stops. It describes itself as sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, bar and relaxed encounters.

The entrance takes a little finding: you go in through Färberstraße 21, into the rear building via the driveway, or through the courtyard beside Entengasse 10.

It opens daily from 13:00 — until 23:00 from Sunday to Wednesday, midnight on Thursday and two in the morning on Friday and Saturday nights. Bathing stops half an hour before closing. There is a reduced Youngster rate for guests under 25 with photo ID, and the sauna publishes a themed programme date by date, so check the calendar before you go.
