Bar Hemmungslos
Bar Hemmungslos
about
Bar Hemmungslos is a swinger and BDSM bar in the centre of Hannover — 600 square metres over three floors on Ludwigstraße, a few hundred metres from the Hauptbahnhof and the Rundestraße multi-storey car park, which the club recommends for cheap, safe and anonymous parking. It has been running for over ten years and describes itself as bar and club in one: a drink and a conversation at the bar, or an evening in the play rooms, depending on what you came for.
The three floors are furnished differently from one another and partly air-conditioned: a ground-floor bar, lounge and fireplace room with the smoking area, a BDSM basement the club has recently enlarged and re-equipped, and an upper floor of play areas and private rooms with showers and lockers. Professional air purifiers with HEPA 13/14 filters and UVC disinfection have been installed throughout. Admission covers the club entry, towels, hygiene articles and condoms, and the use of every room; valuables go in lockable lockers in the changing room. Drinks are tallied individually and settled when you leave, in cash or by EC card.
The house is open every day of the year, with fixed dates in the week: Mondays from noon, Wednesdays an Erosecco Night plus a 19:00 taster hour for anyone new to the swinger, BDSM and kink scene, and every second Sunday an SM and bondage Stammtisch. Guests who visit on a Friday, a Saturday or the evening before a public holiday are served a midnight snack. Several outside organisers run their BDSM and swinger parties here, so the calendar is worth checking as well as the club's own. Entry is cheaper with advance registration; the club publishes its prices in its own price list, and asks that you register beforehand rather than turn up spontaneously.
