Club Paradise is a swingers club in Lingen in the Emsland, close enough to the Dutch border to draw from both sides of it. The club puts its floor area at 800 square metres, laid out as a series of themed rooms rather than one large space.

There is a bar and several lounge areas for the part of the evening that is only conversation, a floor given over to couples with themed rooms and two that lock, and a BDSM room in the basement that the club treats as one of the highlights of the house.

The rules are unusually firm and worth knowing before you go. Phones go into lockable compartments on arrival, and photography or filming anywhere in the building means exclusion from the evening and a ban from the club. Street clothes and dirty shoes are not allowed, and nor is going barefoot. Single men are admitted at the door only if the club already knows and has vetted them — turning up unannounced as a single man is not the way in here.

Evenings run as individual parties rather than to a weekly timetable, so check the club's own calendar before travelling.
