Treffpunkt Essen is a small swingers club on the Markgrafenstraße in the Südostviertel of Essen, right by the A40 and reachable by public transport. Its own description is of somewhere cosy and familiar rather than large.

It states openly that it is a Herrenüberschuss club — a male-surplus club, run with more single men than women present. That is the format, not an accident, and it is worth knowing before visiting.

For play it lists a gynaecological chair, a bench, a St Andrew's cross, a Spanish wall, a massage couch and a porn corner. Food and drink are included in the entry price.

Every opening day has its own format: a breakfast party on Wednesday mornings, a nudist and bi party on Thursday afternoons, a relaxed Friday evening and a themed party on Saturday. Monday, Tuesday and Sunday it is closed. The dress code follows the day — Thursday is nudist, with nudity optional for women; on the other party days light club wear or nudity are both fine.
