Infinito Club Privè is at Melzo, about twenty-five kilometres east of Milan — it trades as Infinito Club Milano, so expect to find it advertised under the city rather than the town.
Music comes first here: the club says as much, and puts its large dance hall at the centre of the evening. Around it are a bar with selected spirits and wines, a smokers' room, spacious dark rooms, a glory hole and privé areas, along with an equipped dungeon that the club offers as part of an evening package with a buffet dinner.
Nights are programmed individually rather than to weekly hours.
We had the pleasure of attending the final event of the year on Saturday, July 11th. It was a wonderful celebration, with a huge turnout. I'd like to share some thoughts, both positive and negative, with the aim of providing constructive feedback.
One of the less convincing aspects was definitely the entrance organization. The wait was far too long, and there was a sense of confusion. The staff members were trying their best, but they seemed to be working in less than optimal conditions: they were constantly passing each other, had to manage too many manual operations, and had to enter a lot of data. An electronic system would probably make everything faster and more efficient.
The cloakroom also caused some inconvenience. Another long line formed to drop off a single jacket, and the woman there, presumably a newcomer, seemed to be struggling quite a bit.
Another area that could be improved was the dining area. There were too few tables for the number of attendees, and many people were forced to eat standing up, with their plates in hand. This created constant congestion, and the staff was forced to ask people to move frequently.
The shows were excellent, but perhaps they were too numerous and too central to the evening's flow. The impression is that the event revolved primarily around the shows, when it would have been nice to experience them as a side dish, giving people time to chat, eat, and enjoy each other without constant interruptions.
One aspect that left me perplexed was the reserved tables. I asked a young man sitting at one of these tables about it, and he told me he hadn't paid any extra. If that were indeed the case, it becomes difficult to understand the criteria for assigning them. It risks creating the impression of creating "first-class" customers and "second-class" customers. If the tables are free, however, perhaps a more equitable system should be found to allow everyone to use them.
As for the bar, however, the overall impression is absolutely positive. The service was fast, the staff was kind and helpful, and I had no problems whatsoever.
Special praise also goes to the cleanliness of the venue. Throughout the evening, I noticed constant attention: the spaces were cleaned and tidied several times. From this perspective, the organization is truly exemplary.
The bodyguard service was effective; I saw them intervene, and they're no joke, but that's a positive thing for those with good intentions.
The music was divided into two very different parts. I particularly enjoyed the first part, which was more engaging and lively, while the second featured a completely different style. Of course, this is a subjective assessment.
The private room seemed a bit chaotic and disorganized, being divided into two areas, but overall it was still pleasant.
The only real problem, perhaps the most obvious of the evening, was the heat. It was truly excessive, and at several points, it was decidedly more comfortable outside than inside.
Overall, it was a pleasant and well-organized evening in many respects. With some improvements in the management of access, spaces, and timing of the evening, the event could truly become a benchmark.
The place is very well-maintained and surprisingly clean, which is certainly not a given. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-attended, with a very diverse clientele: both young and older, so the atmosphere is balanced and inclusive. I also appreciated the additional services, such as the lockers, which were really convenient and well-organized.
Unfortunately, I have to make a very negative comment about the bar service, particularly about the gentleman who was there last night. After waiting a long time for a drink, I pointed this out in a perfectly calm and polite manner, but his response was rude, provocative, and almost intimidating. He had no understanding of the poor service, nor even a hint of an apology. Fortunately, his colleague was much more polite and professional. This was truly absurd behavior that ruined an otherwise positive experience (and the evening was indeed positive!).
After a little over 40 minutes, I left, switching to a different private club.
If I want to go clubbing, I'll go to a disco.
The staff is incredibly friendly, the venue is nice, but for a private club, it's poorly structured.
Maybe I'll pop in a second time, give the evening the benefit of the doubt, and hope I'll change my mind.
