Matreshka is the best-known strip club in Almaty, on Seyfullin Avenue in the Almaly district of central Kazakhstan's largest city. It is among the small number of adult venues operating openly in the country and appears consistently in Almaty nightlife listings.

Kazakhstan permits sex work but criminalises organising it, so adult entertainment there runs through nightclubs and strip venues rather than licensed premises. Almaty holds most of the country's such venues.
