Sevilla Liberal sits out on the road between Santiponce and Valencina de la Concepción, beyond the edge of Seville where, as the club puts it, quiet and discretion reign. It bills itself as the fresher, younger end of the city's liberal scene, with its own private guarded car park.

Inside, the club is built as a labyrinth — a run of different settings to get lost in, designed so that curiosity builds as you go. The hot zone holds what the house calls the most exciting darkroom you could imagine, and there are comfortable private rooms for anyone who wants something quieter. A jacuzzi, a nudist area and an X-rated cinema fill out the afternoons and evenings.

The other half of it is the party. The club runs its own events and a swinger disco with a resident DJ working the outdoor area, and its terrace carries a pool — sex and mischief under the stars, in its own words.
