La Manzana is a private swingers chalet at Santoña on the Cantabrian coast, and is careful to say it is not a conventional liberal club. Admission is for couples, for single women, and for friends, members and invited guests: a first visit is arranged in advance by telephone, and the club says the control exists only to protect the discretion and privacy of the people already inside.

Its shared social area holds a reception, a bar, a dance floor with a DJ booth, a pole-dance bar and karaoke, a fireplace with sofas, a breakfast and snack area and fitted lockers. Six private suites can be taken by the hour midweek, by the weekend or by the week, though only by member or regular couples — it states plainly that it is not a public hotel.
