Sauna Azzurra sits on the Van Heemstraweg in Beuningen, in Gelderland just outside Nijmegen. It describes itself as an atmospheric sauna for couples, women and men, and admission is strictly over-18.

The week is split by audience, in the sauna's own words: Tuesday, Friday and Sunday are men-only; Thursday is Couples Only, exclusively for a man and a woman together; Monday, Wednesday and Saturday are mixed. Facilities it lists itself are several saunas and steam cabins, indoor whirlpools, relaxation rooms, a large outdoor terrace with loungers, and a bar and restaurant.

The sauna is being extended: it says a first part of the expansion is finished and about to open, with a second phase to follow, and that it is taking its time to get the layout right. Parking is free, and the sauna asks visitors to use the car park rather than the verge.
