The venue guarantees women what it calls absolute mental and physical freedom, and says women have the advantage. Alongside the cinema it runs a sex shop on the premises, arguing in its own words that many people cannot order toys online for all sorts of reasons — here there are no statements to account for and staff give advice in person.

There is also a 'fluistertuin' — a whisper garden — which the venue presents as the healing power of silence, and a forum with more than 25,000 members where visitors share experiences and ask questions.
