Parenclub Monique is a couples club on a discreet country estate at Zuiderdijkweg 12 in Wieringerwerf, in North Holland, about half an hour north of Amsterdam and easily reached from the A7. The club notes that it actually sits closer to Medemblik than to Wieringerwerf, and tells visitors coming from the south to take the Medemblik exit rather than the Wieringerwerf one.

The premises are a converted farmhouse with themed play rooms — a group room, a jungle room, a bedstee — alongside changing rooms, showers and a restaurant. The wellness side is unusually well equipped for a club of this size: an infrared cabin, a large Turkish steam bath run at around 45 degrees, a 90-degree Finnish sauna, and three massage tables, two of them built to the club's own design.

Important before travelling: Monique is not open daily. It runs club evenings only on the dates published in its own agenda, which covers the whole year and includes named special editions; every other evening the club is closed and not accessible. Questions are answered by telephone on opening days between 11.00 and 17.00, but not during the evening itself.
