Fun4Two is a couples club in Moordrecht, just outside Gouda, and it has been open since January 1996. It occupies a farmhouse built after the surrounding polder was drained in 1851 — the part the club uses was the cattle stall, and the marks where some eighty cows rubbed their necks are still in the woodwork. The hay loft above was built strong enough to hold the herd if the polder ever flooded. The building is protected as a national monument, and the lowest point in the Netherlands sits a few hundred metres away, more than seven metres below sea level.

The club opens on Friday and Saturday evenings and on Sunday afternoons, for couples and single women; single women, it says, are always welcome. On the third Friday of the month — Fun's All-Inn Night — couples may bring an extra friend. There is a dress code, and guests are expected to have changed by 23:30 on Friday and Saturday, and by 19:00 on Sunday.

A self-service restaurant looks out over the dance floor and runs a themed menu every weekend alongside hot dishes, salads, desserts and meat you grill yourself, served until roughly half an hour before closing. Its house rules are firm: no towels, no telephones, clothing or lingerie to be worn, and no sex in the restaurant. Elsewhere there is a wellness area the club calls its Wellness Cave, an indoor pool, and rooms for guests who want to stay the night.

The programme runs to Ladies Nights, Swingers Sundays, themed evenings, Hardcore Nights and special events, and on a Sunday that reaches 25 degrees and sunshine the club turns it into one of its Pool Parties. Registration and reservations go through the club's own booking site.
