New Shakers is a totally nude BYOB club on 300th Street outside La Motte, in the countryside west of Dubuque. Its own summary of itself is three words long: eighteen and over, totally nude, bring your own bottle.

It belongs to the Janra group of clubs, which runs a free pass, a VIP sign-up and a nightly dancer roll call through shared forms — though the group is explicit that each of its locations is independently owned and operated.

It opens Thursday to Saturday at six in the evening, running to two in the morning, and on Sunday from seven until midnight. Nothing is published about the first three days of the week.
