The Night Before Lounge is a strip club in downtown Lincoln, on M Street a few blocks off the main drag. It calls itself a premium gentlemen's club, and the feel it describes is closer to a neighbourhood bar than a barn — a small room with a stage, a bar and its own regulars.

Game days are part of the identity. The club puts every Husker football game, the big college matchups, all the televised NFL games and Monday Night Football on a thirteen-and-a-half-foot screen, and points out that half time comes with entertainment you would not get at the stadium.

It takes bookings for bachelor and bachelorette parties — it just asks for a heads-up on large groups — and publishes its own guides to strip club etiquette and to visiting as a couple.

It opens at three in the afternoon Monday to Saturday and runs to two in the morning. Sunday it is closed.
