Pykaros is a cabaret in central Montevideo, on Convención in the Barrio Sur just south of the Ciudad Vieja. It is one of the few Uruguayan adult venues with its own web presence, and operates in the cabaret format common to the River Plate region — stage performances, table service and hostesses.

Uruguay legalised and regulates sex work: workers register and the trade is supervised rather than prohibited, which makes the country's adult venues more openly operated than most of Latin America. Montevideo's are concentrated in the centre and along the main access roads.
