Playhouse Gentlemen's Club is one of Cardiff's two city-centre lap dancing clubs, licensed as a sexual entertainment venue and located at 32 Saint Mary Street in the heart of the city's main nightlife strip. It sits within a few minutes' walk of Cardiff Central station and the Principality Stadium, which makes it a fixture of the city's stag and matchday trade.

The club offers stage performances and private dances alongside a full bar, and markets itself to groups as well as individual guests. Wales licenses adult entertainment tightly — Cardiff has only a handful of venues holding a sexual entertainment licence, and Swansea's council has capped its own number at nil — so the city-centre clubs on Saint Mary Street represent most of the country's licensed provision.

Me and the wife popped in on Saturday night with the idea of having a drink and a lapdance but ended up leaving without as nobody even approached us. That's 2 dances at least that they missed out on

Really poor place to go where dancers promise the world when you show your credit card and mug you off as soon it's gone. I'm not one to complain but tonight I witnessed dancers get paid, £240, to which they suggested they'd reimburse them, which never happened, who ever runs the show let's low budget dancers get away with murder. What goes around comes around, treat others how you like to be treated, so sooner or later the unprofessionalism will get the best of them. To which I urge don't spend a penny here and go to somewhere with good intentions. And ethics.

There aren't enough words to describe how hideous and terrible an event the Dreamboys is. From being outrageously overpriced, to underwhelming and unimaginative performances, as well as just being crude rather than erotic, it was the worst experience we've ever had and a huge waste of money. Go to an actual Magic Mike rather than this D-list version. Side note; the staff are lovely!

My aunties hen party lastnight (7/6/25) we had a very good night , loads of laughs …until a very rude bouncer/security grabbed and push my sister as we were told to be quick to join in the last picture with the dream boys before going, he had no reason to do this and caused my sister to have a panic attack afterwards . He doesn’t have any rights doing this and he should’ve used his body cam as he was being very unprofessional and clearly the ego got to his head with all the ladies around him! won’t be returning because of this shame!

Went here yesterday for a hen party. Very rude staff, over priced drinks and the bouncers are hurrendous! They allow their bouncers to grab women for no reason and then shout and swear in their face for simply telling a friend what had happened to her. The show was OK but more of a drag show than dream boys. Worse club I've ever been in, Shocking all around! Other people also seen this man's behaviour and was disgusted by it.
