Armenón is an albergue transitorio, Buenos Aires's name for a love hotel rented by the turno, in Almagro near the Abasto shopping centre and opposite the Konex cultural centre. It calls itself a new concept in hourly hotels, with themed rooms such as Noche Galáctica, Cielo de Estrellas, Loft, Strip Dance and Kamasutra with a Scottish shower, and rooms equipped with erotic and tantric chairs and jacuzzis. Couples of the same or different sex aged 18 or over are welcome, and a third guest is allowed for a surcharge. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year including holidays. Turnos last three hours, two hours on Friday and Saturday nights between 21:00 and 06:00, and an overnight stay includes breakfast. Rooms cannot be booked in advance.
