Last time I went there I got hassled with asking for ID. I am a senior. I got in and out as quickly as possible. I have privacy concerns about what are they doing with my ID. The response was that they check id for their security. Which makes zero sense. They didn't explain how checking id was for their security. I checked the privacy commissioner website and i found this " Some transactions (face-to-face cash retail sales, for example) may be concluded in complete anonymity" there's also another section which says about only identify when necessary. I don't buy there anymore due to the inadequate response lacking details about why they need to see a seniors id paying cash.

Walt was such an amazing help with useful information, advice, and making the shopping experience overall super comfortable and enjoyable. Big thanks to him!

Huge selection, and truly excellent staff. Every time I've been in there, each different staff member has been open, informed, non-judgemental, curious, and truly helpful. Whoever is doing the hiring and training is doing a great job!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I got a bong here and it broke while in the bubble wrap they used when I purchased it. I didn't drop it or use it and less than 30 minutes passed from when I left the store to when it broke. I instantly came back to see if I could exchange it and they refused. When I paid for my stuff I wasn't going to take the receipt as I didn't think they did refunds or exchanges to begin with but the cashier encouraged me to take the receipt and said "you should take it just incase". That gave me the impression that I could potentially exchange the bong which added to my frustration, especially since it was poor product quality not my negligence. The cashier was nice but I still can't believe that she gave me the impression that I could potentially exchange an item when that wasn't the case.

I went into the 16th avenue NW location and it was my first time in there. I went in with a group of friends and only thing we could talk about or only thing we could remember about our experience is that the female employee who works the night shift has a very alarming body order. It's really bad when she leaves that area the area it still smells like bad body odour. I don't know if she nose blind to this terrible smell but she needs antiperspirant or deodorant. The other employees who have to be around this smell for 8 hours, I feel bad for them and it because they have to work around that smell all the time.
