Whiskey Down Manchester is a gentlemen's club on Lloyd Street in central Manchester, spread over two levels below street level. It presents itself as a premium gentlemen's club paying tribute to the private lounges of the 1970s, and calls itself Manchester's only Superluxe Playground.

Guests enter through what the club calls its iconic purple door into the Cabaret Lounge, where it advertises a collection of more than a hundred whiskies from around the world. The club says its weekends bring performances from acts such as The Box NYC and Crazy Horse Paris. Entertainment is provided by dancers, and packages are sold with house spirits, mixers and books of dancer cards.

Beyond the lounge the club describes a SuperLuxe Playground of themed function rooms, among them a Games Room and a room it calls She Wants Revenge, all of which it offers for booking for private entertainment or corporate events. It opens at 10pm from Tuesday to Sunday, closing at 4am and at 6.30am on Friday and Saturday. Enquiries go to [email protected].
