The free evening that opens KinkToberFest's main weekend, 6 to 9 pm on Friday 16 October 2026 at the Purgatory Facility in Albuquerque. There are no classes and no play party — it is a chance to browse the vendors, meet the educators and see people, and the organiser says it is meant particularly for those who cannot make the main weekend that follows.

No ticket is required, and this is the one part of the festival open to over-18s rather than over-21s.

The whole festival is alcohol-free and drug-free, and it is run by a non-profit: Zeffy takes no cut, so the organisers state that all proceeds go to NM-REAL.
