An informal rope evening from Spectrum ABQ, 6 to 8 pm on Thursday 10 September 2026 at Wired Events in Albuquerque, run with KnotScience_NM. The organiser's own description is the best one: like musicians getting together to jam, but with rope.

It is deliberately low-key and open to anyone, new to the art or tying for years — a place to meet people, skill-share with no pressure, and practise tying or being tied. A partner is welcome but not required, and nobody is made to pair up. Bring rope and safety shears if you have them; community rope can be borrowed and floor mats are provided. Street wear to the door.

Admission is free and the organiser says the event is open to the community. A Spectrum ABQ membership profile is required before attending anything the community runs, and cannot be arranged at the door.
