The erdbeermund store on the Hohe Straße sits in the heart of Cologne, on the city's main shopping street, with more than 200 square metres of toys, fetish clothing, erotic writing and DVDs, and staff who will talk you through any of it discreetly.

Behind the shop is an Erlebniskino of the same size again: 200 square metres of lockable rooms and cabins, split into a straight area and a gay area, with more than 17 monitors running a constantly changing programme. The cinema closes a quarter of an hour before the shop does.

The branch opens Monday to Thursday from 10am to 11pm and Fridays and Saturdays through to midnight. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
