We are a couple who love saunas and camping.
We currently have a baby who is 0 years old, so camping and long trips are difficult for us. Therefore, we wanted to enjoy a camping-like experience without the hassle, and opted for the BBQ plan in a sauna-equipped room on the top floor.
Although it's advertised as family-friendly,
it's basically a love hotel, so we had some reservations about being seen by others and the cleanliness. However, we didn't encounter any other guests, and the room was thoroughly cleaned. (There were a few minor things that bothered us, but personally, it was within our tolerance.)
The room was very sophisticated, with a luxurious and pleasant atmosphere. The bathroom had high-grade TOTO equipment, and the bedroom had a single-piece wooden sculpture; the interior quality was high. Having two beds was also helpful (probably only in room 502). We were able to lay our baby down on a child's mat on the bed.
The BBQ included 8 slices of beef, about 4 pieces of chicken, vegetables such as corn, and side dishes like grilled rice balls. The portion sizes are a bit small for adults, so if you want a more substantial meal, you might want to consider buying extra. The taste wasn't anything special, but it was sufficient for enjoying the atmosphere.
The sauna is outdoors, so it's easily affected by the outside temperature. When the outside temperature was around 5°C, the room temperature reached about 65°C, and when the outside temperature was around 16°C during the day, it rose to about 75°C. Those who want to enjoy the sauna as their main attraction might find it a little disappointing.
The price for Friday to Saturday use was approximately 32,000 yen.
Considering the effort involved for the hotel in preparing the BBQ and cleaning up the charcoal, I think it's a reasonable price. However, upon arrival, we were informed that there was a 25% surcharge even for a 0-year-old (approximately 8,000 yen without meals), bringing the total to around 40,000 yen.
That's about the price of a one-night stay with two meals at a nice hotel! (laughs)
Overall, the appeal lies in being able to easily enjoy a camping-like experience close to home, and we had a fun time. However, if you are traveling with children, it might be a good idea to compare this accommodation with other options, including the price.
I chose room 502 because it was advertised as having a sauna, but the sauna itself was absolutely terrible; the temperature never even reached 50℃.
This room was supposed to advertise its sauna, but it was so bad I felt cheated.
I was really looking forward to the sauna, so I felt cheated. Even though it was a free-time stay, I left after about an hour.
Even though I was there for a short time, I was still charged a 30% surcharge because it was during the New Year's holiday.
I was so upset I intended to just pay and leave, but the employee seemed concerned about my early departure and asked for my reason. After I explained, all they said was, "I'll pass this on to my supervisor."
I want my precious holiday time back.
I was happy that the room was clean.
The food was delicious, and I was also pleased that the amenities and cosmetics in the lobby were free!
We used the facilities as a family of four.
There was a complimentary cake or sweets at the entrance, which the children enjoyed.
The bath was spacious, large enough for three people to comfortably relax in \( ¨̮ )/
We used navigation to get there, but the navigation system didn't guide us to the entrance properly, which was a bit of a problem 🥲
The road in front is one-way, so I recommend checking carefully before going.
We used this hotel for a special occasion.
The room was very spacious, and the food was delicious.
Above all, we chose a room with an open-air bath, and the view was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
The staff were very helpful, and it made for a wonderful day.
It's a relaxing space, and we would love to come back again.
