Despite the exciting exterior and interior design, which are rare in the Kansai region and feature a dinosaur motif (based on the world of a certain movie), the customer service was incredibly unpleasant. The woman in her 60s with graying hair and the staff handling phone calls were both cold and unfriendly.
While you order amenities via tablet, I ordered a hair spray, and it was clearly in my order history. However, it never arrived, so I went down to the front desk to explain again. The woman, also in her 60s, said, "You didn't order that?" I explained that it was in my order history.
She curtly went to the back without a word and handed me a different hair spray than the one I ordered.
I think they should have said something like, "I'm sorry, which hair spray did you order?" or "Let me check your tablet in your room," but instead, they just went to the back silently and said, "Here you go." This is unacceptable. I think they should stop employing such staff in customer service. While it might be understandable for a young person, it's unacceptable for someone of a certain age to be unable to provide service while considering the customer's perspective. Even though it's the front desk of a love hotel, customer service is still customer service, so I think it's inappropriate to employ someone who makes customers feel uncomfortable.
It cost 11,000 yen for a 3-hour break (expensive).
Incidentally, the room was listed as a B-rank room (weekday 2-hour rate?) in the 7,000 yen range.
There was a notice, barely visible on the corner of the reception desk, stating a 20% Saturday surcharge. When I asked for an itemized bill, it only listed the total amount and room number, with no breakdown—lol.
Also, as everyone else has mentioned, the middle-aged man at the reception desk was extremely brusque!
A true example of poor customer service! 👍️
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The family plan is a great solution. Small children will love it. My kids were thrilled. The rooms are nice, the bed is large, the bathroom is beautiful, and breakfast is free. Netflix and YouTube are available. The surroundings are beautiful, including dinosaurs.
The worst experience of our trip. Knowing it was a love hotel, but being Dino fans, we decided to give it a try… however, love hotel doesn't necessarily mean disgusting! There were no explanations upon arrival, the smell of cigarettes was awful, making it impossible to sleep properly, the mattress was black, it felt like walking through a room that hadn't been cleaned, and there was no ventilation. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but we still didn't know what it entailed. So we didn't get it. In short, a shabby hotel; avoid it.
This place was the best experience ever!!! 10/10 food amazing staff amazing thank you!!!
