Smitten Kitten is a trans- and queer-owned sex shop on Lyndale Avenue South in Minneapolis, co-founded in 2003. It focuses on body-safe products and sex education, with vibrators, dildos, anal toys, strap-on harnesses, BDSM gear, sex machines and pelvic-health products, and staff on hand to help customers choose. The shop is closed on Mondays, open from 1 PM to 8 PM Tuesday to Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.

I found this place on Instagram and had been dying to go. Overall, a standard adult store with an okay selection. The cashier didn't greet us when we entered, and didnt seem to want to be there, it happens, not the end of the world. Im mostly astonished at the amount of social justice work they do, its honestly fantastic to see.

Hands-down my favorite shop of this kind in the Twin Cities. The staff are supportive, inclusive, and amazing, and they've got a little bit of everything for everyone, and if you need more than what's on the shelves, the online catalog even bigger. Don't be afraid to talk to the staff for help, they're super knowledgeable and good at what they do! The space is a little on the small side, which is good for keeping the space intimate, but does mean it gets a little crowded during busy hours.

amazing space! i’ve been a few times and i always find something new, they have incredible educational content, a great array of adult toys, and gender affirming gear. where else can i pick up a book on health, a safe chest binder, AND adult toys? the staff are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. the space a well kept and organized. products are easy to find. and in a wonderful location! love lyndale ave!!! smitten kitten is a cornerstone of our community:)

Welcomed with an amazing vibe and great smiles from all the staff. Nice dimmer lit lighting and not ear crashing music volumes. ACCEPTING TO ALL LOVING. Wish more store were like this apon entry!
