colette Austin is a private, membership-only on-premise club on Dragline Drive in north Austin. It is the Austin location of the colette group, which also runs clubs in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and New Orleans, and it describes itself as a social club for couples, single men and single women who are active in, or curious about, the swinging, polyamorous and open-relationship lifestyles.

It opens Wednesday to Saturday nights and runs a named events calendar rather than one fixed weekly format. The club is arranged over two floors: a main room with a dance floor, a DJ playing dance music and party favourites, and high-tech lighting, with a second-floor lounge above it. There are lockers, valet parking and a beverage cooler, and the club is non-smoking throughout.

It does not serve or sell alcohol. Guests bring their own, and the club provides set-ups, ice and bar staff to pour; free mixers are included and premium mixers can be bought. Entry is 21 and over, photographs are allowed only in designated photo areas, and a dress code is enforced - the standard is what you would wear to an upscale restaurant or nightclub, with fetish, leather and gothic wear welcome and beach or gym clothing not.
