Anvil is a private men's club on Church Street in Toronto's Church-Wellesley Village, entered from the lane behind Dudley's Hardware through a blue door. It is a space for men to meet and explore, with private booths, a dimly lit cinema, a maze, a lounge and a large outdoor area, plus a wash station. The club welcomes cis men, trans men and non-binary people who present as male, aged 18 and over. There are no showers, steam room or jacuzzi; clothing and bag check is free, and in-and-out privileges are given with a stamp. It has no liquor licence but sells water, soda and energy drinks. Anvil is open Thursday to Sunday from 4 PM, until midnight on Thursday and Sunday and until 4 AM on Friday and Saturday.
