The Peep Hole is the Portland branch of Mr. Peeps, and the oldest of the chain's three Oregon shops — its own account is that the store opened in 1981 and has been the same store ever since. It sits on SE 122nd Avenue in Mill Park.

The stock is what the chain calls simply everything adult: novelties and toys across a wide range of tastes, and DVDs to rent as well as buy. Mr. Peeps says of all three of its stores that they are a lot more than the standard mom-and-pop adult shop, that they are female- and couple-friendly, and that each has a discreet rear entrance and plenty of off-street parking.

Watching on the premises is part of the offer too: the chain says its stores have preview rooms and a fully-featured arcade.
