colette San Antonio is a private, membership-only on-premise club on Perrin Beitel Road in the north-east of the city. It is the San Antonio location of the colette group, which also runs clubs in Dallas, Houston, Austin and New Orleans, and it describes itself as a social club for couples, single men and single women who are active in, or curious about, the swinging, polyamorous and open-relationship lifestyles.

The club opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and rather than one fixed weekly format it runs a named events calendar - recent nights have included a newcomers' evening and a series of themed parties. The room has a dance floor with a DJ playing dance music and party favourites, high-tech lighting and lockers, and the club is non-smoking throughout. Free mixers and set-ups are provided, with premium mixers available to buy.

A dress code is enforced and the club is explicit about it: the standard is what you would wear to an upscale restaurant or nightclub, fetish, leather and gothic wear are welcome, and beach or gym clothing is not. Single men are held to a stricter version of the same rule. Members are also asked to arrive and leave in street-worthy clothing.
